About the parish
"The Spirit of Generosity: "the one who sows sparingly
will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully, will reap
bountifully":(2 Corinthians 9:6 NRSV)
Many people in the parish give financially through the
stewardship planned giving envelopes Envelopes are marked for each Sunday
of the year and then placed in the offertory plate during Sunday Services.
The financial giving of parishioners enables us to employ clergy and other
staff, to resource ministry initiatives and to contribute to the mission of the
church elsewhere
Our financial giving also enables us to maintain the parish
property. It is also possible to give through Direct Debit. People give
according to their means; but we encourage everyone to be regular! Information
is available from the Parish Treasurer on 9364 1718 or email
applecross@applecross.perth.anglican.org.
PARISH VOLUNTEERS
There are many ways people that people can contribute
their time, gifts and talents to the parish in a
voluntary capacity. Many hands make light work
seems to be an appropriate saying here. There are
always openings for people to assist with cleaning, serving, maintenance,
hospitality or taking a formal role in the Sunday
Services.
Rosters are prepared for many of these tasks and the
coordinator is Daphne Pyke. Daphne would love to hear from anyone who
would like to assist in any way (big or small) and can be
contacted on phone 9364 3583 or
